Getting COVID Ready

The following checklists are useful for helping staff, clients and the broader community to prepare themselves for living with COVID-19. All have been shared with permission.

Donning and Doffing PPE
The Department of Health has recorded this helpful video to assist people in properly donning and doffing their personal protective equipment.

Nulsen Group – PPE Scenarios

Nulsen Group has shared a range of resources relating to PPE and its use in different scenarios throughout the range of workplaces across their organisation. These signs may be useful for other community sector organisations:

COVID-19 Cleaning Protocols – Sign to be attached to stations within congregate living facilities
“Green Zone – no known coronavirus” – sign for hanging in safe areas of congregate living facilities
“Red zone – COVID-19 positive clients” – sign to be used for areas of congregate living facility where there are COVID-19 positive clients
“No visitors” – sign for front door of congregate living facility that is not accepting visitors due to COVID-19
“Sequence for putting on and removing PPE” – This signage is from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare and has been deployed across all of Nulsen’s congregate living settings
